Iron Order MC

I have been in Nam Knight America Mc for 9 years. Primarily Viet Nam Veterans and Law enforcement or both..We hold a big barbeque cookout for the Georgia War Veterans Home every April..We also hold a Christmas party there, and give out gifts with refreshments...I have ridden Rolling thunder 5 times in Washington, and 3 Times to Pensacola to the Wall..Go to show respect for all my brothers and sisters Fallen..DD
Nam Knights party this saturday I think.Lost my paperwork.

The Iron order consists mainly of cops. Any MC with "Iron" in the name indicates its a law enforcement club. This exact club had an AE special a few years back where Bob Saget rode around with them and became an honorary member. They aren't a bunch of hard asses like the show would make you believe.
Definitely not 1%. For anyone interested the show is on youtube and is called "strange days" with Bob Saget, the Iron Order episode.

WRONG....I always love it when people think they know stuff that they have no clue about. is there police in the IO. yes, are there police in 1% clubs YES the only difference is the IO know who they are. its not a cop club. you don't have to be a cop to join and earn your way in. all walks of life and jobs are welcome to show interests in joining . and you say you know members of the IO ? im interested in who it is you know. because if you really knew members like you say you do then they would have gave you the same info as I did. and btw iron in a name doesn't indicate cop club if they are a cop club they would have a le & mc cube like the blue knights.

There is a lot of information presented in the world that is incorrect.
The stuff you see on TV is mostly crap that is over-produced to create a specific and pre-planned socio-political reaction, or to produce advertising dollars, or to produce both.
The biker tv shows like SOA are just that -- Hollywood.

If one is well and truly interested in the world of motorcycle clubs, then HERE ---->>> http://www.rcvsmc.net/ a GREAT place to start.

If one is well and truly interested in the world of simply riding a bike, it still wouldn't hurt to check out the site because there is a wealth of information there that may help one understand where motorcycle club beliefs, traditions, and protocol come from.

From there, it is best to do your own research into the clubs you see and hear about. Many times this includes visiting clubhouses and becoming introduced to members. There are reasons why clubs seem secretive, and it's not always a bad thing.

Generally--and as with anything legitimate in life, the vibe you put out to the club, will be the vibe you get back.

False, not all clubs with "Iron" in the name are cops clubs. The Iron Order is a cop club if they let cops in, to me. The Iron Cross in GA is NOT a cop club.
