Is it criminal to buy guns just to resale at a (high) profit?

Well in GA you can buy a gun with a GWL and there is never sent to GOV agents about the purchase. The FFL has to hold onto the 4473 for 20 years but never sent in and inspected every GWL purchase.SO unless that man buys guns and has a background check done each time there is no alert to say this man is buying x amount of guns a month.

CORRECT, When I sale a firearm I always lose some amount of money rather it be 10 bucks or 100 bucks.I never sold any weapon or anything that gave me a gain at all.

lol good cover..:thumb:

Well it has nothing to do with a bill of sale, as the audit never lies. You have xxx amount of money coming in and xxxxxxxx money going out and deposits of xxxxxxxxxx amount shows IRS something is UP...First thing comes to mind is a drug dealer.

I would not say that an IRS audit NEVER lies.

If you buy a gun with cash and you sell that same gun for cash, it is hard to track without a paper trail.

It's not an issue for me because I have not made a dime trading here.

There are many ways to game the system. That does not make it right. If you go to to your local sporting goods store and buy a gun and come home and flip it on the internet, you are 1) increasing the supply of no-paperwork guns to people who *may* not pass a background check if they went to the store themselves, 2) removing the opportunity for a person who wants to own/keep the gun to walk in and buy the gun for what it really costs, and 3) making a profit in a questionable manner in a regulated business where you *may* be doing something illegal. It's bad for everyone involved except the flipper, who profits handsomely. Same is true for blue label guns - they're blue label for a reason and reselling them for a gain is not the reason... Not to mention that crap like that has put websites like this right in the middle of the current gun ban discussion. If you want to be gun dealer, go through the steps and be one. Playing one on the internet is a bad plan, period.

What I meant about the audit never lies is they are harder to prove that the IRS is wrong then trying to plea your murder case to the courts. But there is always a trail because you had to pull some said money out of somewhere. So you will have to show where you spent this said xxxx amount and how much you sold such item for...Always a trail when it comes to the IRS and well money...

meh... You put too much faith in them. There are plenty of people who keep cash in their safes and have had it there for years.

They would need to care about a seller making a couple hundred bucks. There would need to be something else to give them the hard on for you.

AGAIN you had to have gotten that money some how, rathe it be from a paycheck or taxes or somewhere there is a paper trail where you got that money to put in your safe.Unless you sell drugs, robb people, and robb banks...
