Is the new Executive Order an off limits topic?

He CANNOT change law with an EO only clarify. Current law exempts private sales specifically. He cannot change that.

21)The term “engaged in the business” means—

...

(C)as applied to a dealer in firearms, as defined in section 921(a)(11)(A), a person who devotes time, attention, and labor to dealing in firearms as a regular course of trade or business with the principal objective of livelihood and profit through the repetitive purchase and resale of firearms, but such term shall not include a person who makes occasional sales, exchanges, or purchases of firearms for the enhancement of a personal collection or for a hobby, or who sells all or part of his personal collection of firearms;

I hope this is true!

So all the people here with 50+ sales/trades in a very short period of time, are just doing it for fun? Try to explain that to a federal judge.

No offense meant, but you are guys illiterate or something? All he's done is flap his gums-- it will have no effect on any normal person not deriving their income from selling guns. I have no doubt there are a few such traders about, but they must be in the tiny minority.
Trade away.

You would be wrong. The new policy as articulated by the POTUS will require that all firearms sales and transfers be done via an FFL that can do the mandatory paperwork and background check (but they "won't keep any records").

Would not stop; the AFT, with unlimited funds and assets from dragging any poor schmuck who sells 2 or more firearms and did not register or run a background check on a private sale to court. Even if you win your court costs would be enormous!

Remember the IRS!
