It'd be a pass for me, only 10 rnd capacity magazines. Plus it's one of those cartridges that won't be around for the long term or easily found or on the short list to push out of factories in these current times.

I honestly didn't even catch the GAP until I posted. Looks like Ammo is running around $40 for 50 rds.

I think I'll just concentrate on calibers I already have ammo for.

There were also a few S&W 9mm pistols that I may have to research.

Well if you're apart of the new age of "no ammo in the near future", this will pretty much kill it.

But seriously, only Glock is making pistols in them & as soon as they stop...which could be in the near future, the cartridge will be dead in the water and no longer supported outside of reloader circles. It was a solution to a problem nobody had. It could be classified the same as a .40 s&w but in 45 form....and now that everyone is going back to 9mm, it's one of those "that seems cool" round that will most likely get passed over for easier to come by ammo.

So when what ever police department's that currently carries the 45 Gap decides to stop, the market won't be there for Glock to keep it afloat.
