Is this AR lower worth trying to fix?

Yeah, I would never toss something that may be turned into a working product in desperate times.

If you try to push the trigger pocket back out you will certainly ruin it. Aluminum doesnt bend well at all. It may not have cracked but i can promise you that it will when you try to push it back. With or without heat. Even if you miraculously get it back into alignment without it cracking it will eventually fail. I do destructive and nondestructive testing on metal so i have somewhat of an idea of what im talking about
