Is this baffle erosion?

Here’s erosion… on the right bubbled up leading edges.

SMG abuse, too many mag dumps. Silencerco replaced all baffles no charge. Was expecting a bill.

That is not erosion.

My guess would also be damage from stainless steel pins, you don’t want to tumble anything aluminum in stainless steel.

However, it is odd that it is only appearing on certain baffles. Are you having to drive the baffles out of the silencer? I once saw a .22 silencer with kinda/sorta similar damage caused from pushing the baffles out of the can. Some carbon buildup damaged the baffles as they scraped together.

I wouldn’t worry about it, keep shooting and be a little more careful when cleaning.

No they come out on their own by taking the front end cap off, flipping it over and tap it on my wood work bench.

My guess is the steel pins are wearing the aluminum baffles during the cleaning process. I use Hoppe's 9 and some elbow grease to clean mine.

You’re the winner good sir. After more back and forth they confirmed on only soak them in CLR to clean. Oh btw if your can was made Prior to NOV 1 2021 you have no warranty on your suppressor. He said I could send it in and get the updated baffles for $400. But he told me rock on until the tabs fall off then send it in.
