It is legal if you register as an AOW and pay the tax stamp. DIY for $200 or have a dealer do it and transfer it for $5.
FYI - that forward grip is illegal and useless... Now a single point sling on the back is legal and very useful.
Let me demonstrate how much more dangerous a vertical foregrip is.

Thats just stupid that the angle/no angle would make it legal/illegal.
Dude, it's not about making sense it's about MONEY. You want to add a VG to a pistol, $200. You want to add a stock, $200.
This is correct. The pistol as pictured is completely legal provided the owner has filed appropriate NFA paperwork...but I'm guessing that they haven't.
Well, the conversation is about the intended function of the grip. An AFG is only designed to make firing the rifle from the TOB method easier. A VFG is designed to be held independently of the forend.
Looks like it was for sale on armslist. That would mean a transfer if it was done legally I take. I was looking at pics of wooden handguards when I ran across it. Looking for some wood for my draco.
I might be wrong... I have been once, but im pretty sure the issue is only with that foregrip. Id love to know if theres anything additional without getting ny head bitten off tho
