Item Description: Looking for someone who can cast custom 357 rounds. Have silver to melt down and want 24 custom rounds made for novelty or for werewolves whichever sounds better

Silver bullets anyone

Silver requires a higher temperature than lead. I don't think that standard lead casting equipment will do the job. May need some kind of furnace

Just checked and silver melts at 1770 degrees. Aluminum melts at around 1230. Making silver bullets would require a furnace and steel molds.

Not as easy as one thinks. Completely different metallurgical structure. Would have to have molds made for it probably. Lead molds wouldn’t do it I don’t believe

Thanks guys I appreciate it I'm gonna look into folks that do custom silver casting and then when I have the round find someone else to reload it

In high school jewelry class we did this. Very simple process with minimal things you would need.
