Item Description: Got this truck a little over a year ago. I have a clean title on it in my name. I have put a couple thousand miles on it using it as my daily driver. It is not a perfect vehicle and the price reflects that. This is a great platform for a V8 hotrod
It has some small places in the body, but no rust.
Good running 2.8l v6 fuel injected engine. 5 speed Borg Warner trans with the Muncie bell housing bolt pattern and has the 3.42 gear out back. 196k mileage. It runs just good enough to be fun. This would make a great ride for a teenager, or a truck to kick around in. No leaks since I replaced the intake and timing cover gaskets when I put a timing chain on it. Trans and rearend have new fluid and oil was changed less than 1k ago. Battery is strong. New fuel pump, filter and relays. Someone else deleted the AC, but it could be redone. Heat and defrost work good.
The interior is not perfect either. It has some things that need attention. I had to put a new key cylinder lock in it where someone messed that up. It works perfect though. This truck has the digital dash, but the speedo is not working. Might be the trans sensor.
No stereo in it ,but I have one to go with it.
Price is with the cowl hood, wheels and tires.
$1400 cash with stock hood and S10 rally wheels that have centercaps and beauty bands..
This is not a perfect truck cosmetically ,but its sound and dependable mechanically.
The bed cover is a homemade one.
