Your Dan Wesson is a "Pork Chop" model (named for the barrel shroud). It probably is a Model 14-1.

It would have been made in the mid 1970s or earlier. (1971)

If any one asks, the barrel is not interchangeable with the later "straight shroud" barrels.

Yes they are built like a tank for sure!

I have two of the 15-2s (I think they are called) and a few barrels and grips to go between them with the suitcase looking factory case.
This one didn’t match the others so I am parting with it.
