The 6940 is my favorite Colt AR for use and I've got 2 set up, one is a 6945 ( SBR) which I show off regularly.

I’m very seriously considering making an offer on this. For the 6945, did you purchase it SBR’ed or did you SBR it yourself?

Part of me would probably SBR this if it’s possible.
