FEATURES

The CZ 97 BD is the big-bore brother to the CZ 75 BD, and the first CZ pistol produced in .45 ACP. It is operationally identical to the CZ 75 BD, adding a manual decocker to help drop the hammer to half cock. The CZ 97 BD shares many of the features of the B model, including its hardy black polycoat finish and thin aluminum checkered grips. Besides the decocker, the BD also adds a set of 3-dot tritium night sights.
Features
  • Decocking Lever
  • Safety Stop on Hammer
  • Firing Pin Block Safety
  • Loaded Chamber Indicator
  • DPM Recoil Reduction System
  • 2-10 round mag's

FEATURES & SPECS

Chambered in .45 ACP, using 10-round staggered single feed magazines, has a screw-in barrel bushing, a loaded chamber indicator, DA/SA trigger, and manual safety.

Unloaded the 97 B comes in slightly heavier than a standard 1911. Breaking down its measurements, it weighs 41.3-ounces and features an overall length of
8.3”, width-wise, it’s 1.4-inches has thin aluminum grips, and a steel frame with Trijicon Night sights. Also included
a Cold Hammer barrel that measures at 4.65-inches. I installed the Zahal recoil management rod and springs that retails for $133. It tames the 45acp recoil to make follow up shots easier and more accurate!

Introduced in 1997, the 97 BD is basically the CZ 75 B scaled up to be in .45 ACP for the American market. The CZ97 was discontinued in 2022. The CZ97, is one of ,if not my favorite handguns!
