Offering up a few of our f100s. This one is a 1966 F100 Custom Cab flare side. Been in north Georgia since new. Previous owners owned since 1988 and was told it was garage/barn kept under ownership. In the past year or so the truck went through some mechanical/interior upgrades.

*302 Ford Ho engine
*Rebuilt C-6 automatic transmission
*Power disc brakes
*Power steering
*Aluminum intake/Holley carburetor
*Dual exhaust
*Dealer add on air conditioning (Needs work have all parts)
*New wheels and tires
*New headliner, visors, carpet etc...
*Chrome bumpers
*Tilt steering column

Excellent body overall with a really cool original/patina type look. Believed to have the original wood in the bed. I believe a good bit of the paint to be original. Original black raven color. Needs very little finished up to be a good driver. Georgia title in hand.

Wouldn’t this be a “step side” , instead of a “flare side” ??
I thought flare sides were straight body and step side had the step in front of wheel well ??

The Flares were what Ford called them and gm used the stepvside term in those years. We all typically call them step sides but the die hard blue lovers typically do not like it when we call them step sides. I myself tend to call them stepside trucks. But if I post it on a ford sight I definitely need to call it a flare or I will get a ear full. lol

Whatever we call it, it is a beauty !! Very nice , as with most everything you list .
GLWS - I am sure whoever gets it will enjoy it to the max, I know I would - even if it is a FORD !! LOL

A straight body truck is technically called a style side. But you can break these old f100’s down a little father, you have a dent side and then bump sides. But yes, a flare side is a stepside.
