Item Description: For sale or trade a 1977 Smith and Wesson Model 60 No Dash Chief's Special .38 S&W Special, Stainless Steel Revolver with a 2-inch Barrel. This 5-shot J-frame without the internal lock is seldom seen with the box and receipt and is desirable. This pre-lock revolver features a 2-inch barrel, matte stainless finish, and round butt grip frame with original Walnut Magna grips. Mechanically the revolver is in excellent condition with no issues and Bank vault lockup and timing. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. The revolver does show a little wear but is in excellent condition overall. Included with the sale are the original box, documents, and original receipt.
Manufactured in 1977, this beauty has desirable features no longer available on today's modern machine-made guns- like a hammer-mounted firing pin, pinned barrel, non-mim parts, and of course, the absence of that ugly lock.
