They are both on xfinitymobile, but are paid for and can be switched over to most carriers.

It might already be unlocked. If not, you can call the carrier and tell them to unlock it because they are paid off. Not sure if it's done over the air with a software push or if you have to use iTunes for that process.

That's what I thought. There will be no issues with these phones being paid off. All you have to do is call your carrier and they will set it up with your service. I believe these phones were originally att and were changed to xfinity.
