Item Description: Dan Wesson .357 Magnum revolver in good condition. The revolver was carried on a daily basis and therefore has some holster wear on the barrel, minor wear/scratches on the grip and some minor scuffs on tip of the barrel, but functionally, it is in great shape. I am not completely sure of the model, but I believe it is a 714 Service. Additionally, it will come with a nice leather holster.

This answer is going to sound snarkier than it is, but that's not a "7" anything, "7XX" for DW designates a SS revolver as "6" does for S&W. Guess old DW one upped S&W.

Also, I'm not aware of DW ever giving model names to revolvers, such as "Service". I'm sure the fixed sights gun were marketed to LEO, but I don't think the guns were designated as such.

Appears to be a Model 14-2, 14 being the fixed sight models.
