Item Description: This is the Glock you build when you acknowledge that optics are "The Way", you know that Glock's MOS system has major flaws, but you still want a "Go to War" pistol that you can trust your life to. No bling. Form follows function. Every add-on/upgrade is simple and purposeful. If you were looking for a low-key, optimized G45, I just saved you a ton of time and money doing research/purchasing/shipping costs/waiting/installing/etc.

Estimated round count: ~250

The build cost was ~$950-1000 (doesn't look like it, does it?)

Glock 45 - RMR/507 cut by Jagerwerks - Nitride coating on slide after cut. RMR fits snug and there is plenty of material for the RMR/507 screws to bite in to. Lower 1/4 co-witness is provided by Ameriglo blacked out iron sights. No distracting red/green fiber, no tritium competing in the optic's window. The grip has a SLR CCW magwell that minimizes printing but still allows for surefooted magazine insertions while under duress. Don't like the magwell, unscrew a single screw and pop it off - leaving no trace of it ever being there. One of the magazines has been upgraded to a Taran Tactical +6 extended baseplate & increased power spring and is perfect for the role of backup mag when CCW'ing. Moving inside, I retained 100% OEM Glock internals. All metal-to-metal surfaces have been lightly polished and the pistol is about as smooth as a Glock can get. The trigger shoe has been exchanged for a Johnny Glocks - Glock OEM smooth faced shoe and comes with a tiny portion of the trigger safety "fin" shaved off. The Johnny Glock modification does not affect the functionality of the trigger safety in any way. This is done so that the Trigger safety does not create a hot spot on your index finger pad during long courses of fire.

The only reason this is going on the block is b/c I finally acknowledged that a wrist cannot serve two masters. You need to be either ALL Glock or NO Glock if you ever want perfect presentations every single time. Mixing Glocks and 1911 grip angles on other striker fired pistols just leads to having to do the Glock "dip" and if you are dipping, You are not placing the dot where you intended.
