This is a Remington Rand 1911 that has been hand engraved by the ENGRAVER guild at one time BEN SHOSTLE if you do not know who he is look him up and pull his stuff up on GunBroker all you have to do is type his name in and look what stuff sell for!!!! I have had this gun verbally appraised at Rock Island auction company at $10,000. They also said if I could verify that it was General Patton’s that it would be a six figure gun. I have tried for years now to get this authenticated with no avail, all I ever do is run into dead end. All of the people that could possibly verify it is dead. that being said, it is a super rare and collectible piece, just being engraved by him. I am going to list it on here one time and then possibly run it through GunBroker! Asking $10,000 I am not wanting to trade unless it is more than my asking price.
