I think I'd put that one back for the kids to fight over and sell some stainless Ruger m77s if it were me.

There's got to be some proof of provenance of the pedigree of the owner of that gun somewhere, somehow.

As for those stainless M 77’s, they are already gone. I let another guy enjoy my collection as much as I did earlier this year. I had been collecting them for a long time

Have you tried to contact the engravers guild ?? His daughter bonita is still engraving and possibly would know more about it
I’ve tried getting a hold of her many times actually I tried this week. I looked her up on Facebook and sent her a message through messenger. She has never read a single one of them. I don’t know if she still alive or not. It says that she is 71 years old. But she has not been on Facebook for several years. It don’t look like other than that. I have no way to get hold of her.
Try looking up dani. Apparently it's a grandson/granddaughter... They posted on a site called fedora lounge looking for a knife that he made. Possibly they have the records of his engravings ??
I'm surprised nobody has bought this jewel yet. Sounds like a great investment.
