Item is for: Sale or Trade
Sale Price: 650
Trade Value or Items Looking For: Other milsurp, pistols or rifles
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Up for sale I've got a Czech acceptance marked Karabiner 98kurz. This one was made at Waffenfabrik Brunn II in the final months of the war. At this point, Brno was surrounded by the Soviets, and the guns made at the end were never delivered to German hands. This gun as a result is a German pattern Kriegsmodell with no German acceptance markings, waffenamts, etc. Instead it has Czech acceptance proofs. This one is matching except for the barrel band. This one is in pristine condition, showing the rougher late war bluing, with many visible lathe marks on the barrel. Bore is excellent. Recoil lug has some wobble, and there is a crack forming a the tang.
This gun is fairly unique in that it has a matching barrel and bolt. The majority of DOU45 receivers were uncompleted at wars end, and thrown together as force matched hodge podge guns for Middle Eastern contracts.
This gun has no import marks.
Trade interests:
WW2 rifles
Military handguns
M4 carbines from Bushmaster, Colt etc. Uppers, lowers, or complete.
Will add cash or other guns, like my Westinghouse Finnish Mosin
