Item Description: This is a rare and highly desirable Smith & Wesson Model 19-2, chambered in .357 Magnum with a factory 2½-inch barrel and nickel finish, manufactured in 1969. The dash-2 variation marks the first time the 2½" barrel configuration was introduced, making this an especially significant early example. Nickel Model 19-2s with this configuration are exceedingly scarce—in fact, this is only the second one I've ever seen. The nickel finish shows some honest wear and handling marks, but still retains a bright, attractive appearance and reflects its vintage character well. The grips are correct for the era, though not numbered to the gun, and remain in very nice condition with clean checkering and solid fit. Mechanically, the revolver functions as it should—tight lockup, excellent timing, and a smooth trigger pull in both single and double action. If you're a collector of early Combat Magnums or rare S&W configurations, this nickel Model 19-2 snub is a standout piece. It's a seldom-seen variant that captures the transition into the more compact defensive revolvers that became iconic in the years to follow. Don't miss the chance to own a piece of S&W history—this one is hard to find and even harder to let go.

I'm parting with this beauty as I’m downsizing my collection due to my infant Son.

Must be willing to meet in Athens, GA, as I do not have time in my schedule with my Son to travel. I am happy to ship it if you cannot travel
