Beautiful piece, I have heard there were many of these issued to law enforcement and even that that is the reason this revolver was produced, again I heard heard that? I ran across this one about 3 yrs ago for 350.00. It is almost, not sure if you say perfect or how you judge them as the stocks do have a few marks.
I was told it was issued to the Gwinnett County Firechief. Also for what that is worth. I was not even aware that they were issued sidearms. Just wanted to share beside this beautiful one that HERCULES949697 has posted. Again I am with him, I do not see them often. Apparently his 581 is Nickle and my 681 is stainless. Be curious if they made a beautiful blued one?
