Item Description: Up for sale/trade is my excellent Wilson CQB 1911. I love it so, but I have a hankering for something different. I would love cash, but I am open to trade + cash, multi-gun trades, or other trades of equal value.
I went to the crappy Eastman gun show in Gainesville this past weekend and a guy was trying to sell the same thing for $2800+ and condition wasn't as good as mine. Of course, gun shows these days are kind of like some ODT'ers with inflated opinions of gun values. The base price for the CQB from Wilson is $2865 and a 12 month plus wait.
The CQB is used, but well loved and taken care of. I don't know how many rounds I've shot through it - I don't make a record of such things. I will say that I had Wilson do some custom work on a Beretta 92FS and sent the CBQ in with instructions to replace anything worn or in need of attention. I got it back with a clean bill of health and nothing done to it.
My interests are wide and varied, but I have particular interest in a Sig 226/229 Legion, quality 9mm 1911, Trijicon ACOG, Colt single actions, basically any high quality trade will be considered. Anything in 40 S&W will not be considered or any $2k Glocks. I will probably be a bit picky as I do really like this gun and I have my share of nice stuff.
