Item Description: For sale is a 4.3 million range M1 Garand produced by Springfield at the end of the Korean War Era. The barrel is a Springfield dated 8-54 with an ME of 2.2 and a TE of 4. The bore is good with no pitting. It has all the correct Springfield parts for the production date. The stock is a Springfield with a 1/2" DAS cartouche and there is a "P" proof stamp on the wrist. There is also an armory repair to the stock wrist. It was cracked and the armory glued it and then drilled two brass stock screws to secure it. It is solid so don't let that scare you. The rifle has been test fired and the head space is correct. It includes the correct MRT marked sling and a CMP rifle case.
