Item Description: Hello ODT. I picked up a Marlin Papoose from a fellow ODTr a week or so ago with the intention of shooting it or passing it onto my nephew. I also loved these older Marlins but I quickly found out I dont have much use for it. Decided to gift it to my nephew but his mother isn't too keen on that idea either so it's back for sale.
I paid 250 for it and drove to Gainesville to grab it. I'll eat the gas and share the deal with you.
Overall condition is good. I believe it is a 1986 or 87 Papoose.
Bluing still is still strong so is its rifling. The stock has no major dings but some signs of use but you'd have to look close.
It comes with the original magazine and the original red Marlin rifle bag.
This is the ultimate bug out rifle and a great one to teach the little ones on.
