Item Description: For sale is a Model 1898 Krag Jorgensen sporter project.
Someone started off with a nice idea, but I guess couldn't figure out how to attach barrel to stock. Trigger guard needs a screw.
Redfield peep sight installed.
Barrel is aftermarket, and neither myself or previous owner has any idea what caliber it is, but this being a Krag, with a uniquely Krag magazine system, I'm assuming it's still in 30-40 Krag. But I am definitely not 100% certain.
I'm not a sporter collector, so it's going. $280 firm.
