Item Description: Late model - early 60s, I believe - Winchester 12 in 12g. 26 inch barrel.

Was grandpa's "maybe I'll go hunting" gun. Shoots fine, shows normal wear for a 60 year old gun that only occasionally left the safe. Straight cylinder bore as far as I can tell.

This may help. Mine is stamped "Improved Cylinder" under the model and serial number, right side of barrel. These guns have a thin barrel. If your barrel is thick at the muzzle, it most likely has been sawed off. Mine is a 16 ga., so the dime trick won`t work on mine, to give you a comparison. If your barrel is thin, it is most likely improved cylinder, according to the dime trick.
