Item Description: I’ve got a pair of .45’s . Pieces of Americana. Selling a couple of 1911s. One is a - as far as I know - WW I Colt 1911. The Other one (shiny in the box ) is a Taurus pt 1911. Both are 45 acp. The Colt is rare and has an older, leather service holster and 1 magazine. The Taurus comes with box docs papers and 3 loaded clips. Asking 2500 obo for the Colt and 600 obo for the Taurus. No trades but I will entertain cash offers for 1911 fans.

Is the magazine for the 1911 a two tone?
 
The Colt (frame at least) was manufactured in 1917. The letter "C" in front of the serial number indicates commercial production/sale. C88585 was one of 24,000 Government Model 1911's produced that year.
