Picked this up a while back. Shot it and put it up. Very cool piece of American history that I'm letting go to the next guy.

I hate seeing this in adds...but, if you are considering this rifle. Get it now! I leave Saturday morning for Texas and I do not know when I will be back in GA. Sadly this rifle will "go back in the safe." I about threw up just typing that last bit.

Not familiar with this. Is it an American made copy?

How about a little copy pasta with a link bump for a cool piece of history.

Midway through the Great War in 1915, Russia’s last czar, Nicolas II, had named himself commander-in-chief of the country’s massive but underequipped army. To help his troops gear up he ordered more than 3 million Mosin-Nagant rifles from American manufacturers Remington Arms and New England Westinghouse as the US was sympathetic to the Russian-British-French cause. Remington quickly produced 750,000 Mosin-Nagants.

Very cool piece of history you have there Tusker6N Tusker6N ! And thanks for sharing Gunanddoglover Gunanddoglover , sometimes I forget how much I don't know.

Tusker6N Tusker6N I'm genuinely interested and have been reading a little more. From what I've read the collector value is in the matched Remington parts that display a ® (convenient that I have that symbol on my phone's keyboard). Is this all matching Remington parts or mixed?
(and I very well could be wrong, after all, most of the internet is just heresy anyways)
