Item Description:
Smith & Wesson model 27-1 in blue steel with a 6 inch barrel and in a factory S&W wood presentation case. The gun is a 4 screw model with a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder. The bluing is very good and I do not have the original grips. It currently has Pachmayr grips. The gun is a 1961 production year with serial number starting S220........Send a PM if you have any additional questions. No bill of sale necessary, but would like to see a carry permit.

That doesn't appear to be refinished. Sharp corners, tight fit between the side plate and frame. 27's came with a nice high gloss finish and the 28's came with a matte finish to save money for police depts.

OOOh. If it was only .5 Inch longer, I'd be making a trip to WR this week.
There is nothing like a M27 blue. When the sun hits it, it looks like nickle.
