Item Name: FS Scarce 1946 Russian M44
Location: Lawrenceville
Zip Code: 30043
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: 195.00
Caliber: 7.62x54r
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Up for sale is a nice representative 1946 Russian M44 Carbine. 1946 is a scarce year for this model, with only around 180K made. Good parts: Scarce year, nice bore, 90% original metal finish (not refurbished). Bad parts: Matching except magazine floorplate, no sling, and the stock is very solid, but with no original finish. A lot of the post-war M44s were given to satellite countries. This one shows some neat "Dutchman" repairs on the handguard and the forearm (which I like). It also has the serial number stamped into the buttstock, usually done after leaving the Soviet Union. A lot of the post-WWII made Mosins went straight to satellite countries.
If you would like a little different M44 at a cheap price, this is the one. Price: $215 and I'll meet you halfway, up to 20 miles or so from Lawrenceville. But, if you meet me at the Bass Pro Shop parking lot, the price is now only $195!
And, I'll throw in 20 rounds of ammo. You have 3 days to inspect/shoot it. If within that time, you don't like it, return it in the same condition received, for a refund.
