- ‘11/78’ indicating it was manufactured in Nov 1978
- ‘NW’ indicating it was used by the Nordrhein-Westfalen State Police
- ‘CAI’ indicating it was sold in the US by Century Arms International, Georgia, VT
- Barrel, slide and frame all bear the same serial number
