Welcome to the trader it takes some learning but a lot of good people on here.

Thanks. I guess I will take this opportunity to ask the Trader veterans a question around selling guns. If there isn't a paper trail or some documentation showing change of ownership, how do I prove that I no longer own a gun with a serial number that is/was registered to me?

There is no gun registration in the state of GA....

If the gun is registered I can't answer that one but if you only purchased it new and filled out paperwork at the dealer that is not technically registered it is paperwork the firearms dealer has to have to show who it was sold to not a registration, I have spoken to several LE officers there are a lot of them on here just have to verify age to sell a firearm.
