Dammit Boy, just give the guy a break, just get a picture of license and hand shake!!!!
A picture of someone's license has your home address on it...you know the location of our guns, money, ammo, gold, family, etc.... If I'm going to give someone my address it will be on a 4473!

Welcome OP. Nice wheel gun.

Just and FYI for OP et al...
The State of GA doesn't have a firearm registry. And the Federal Government doesn't maintain a database of who purchased each firearm new. The gun shop has to keep records but the government has to ask for a particular record to see it. The ATF, FBI, DOJ, etc don't have all of the new sold guns in a file with names attached.

Most guys that trade on here do not require a bill or sale for a private firearm sale. You may hear a request to "flash a carry permit or driver's license". It is customary to show each other your carry permit to let each other know "I'm legally permitted to carry concealed weapons and have thus been through a background check". Or at least a driver's license to prove I am of age to play with guns and a citizen of GA. But nobody has ask me to write down my info in 25+ years of trading used guns in a private transaction.

The State of GA doesn't require you to keep any kind of paperwork. And the only law is you can't sell a gun to someone you know cannot legally possess a firearm. (My 9 year old neighbor who is a convicted domestic abuser and is an unlawful user of, or addicted to, cannabis)

I'm not an attorney but the laws are pretty easy to find
