For your viewing pleasure today is my excellent condition, 2011 Dan Wesson VALOR V-BOB Commander, TT, in 45 ACP. I have handled and fired many 1911 platforms in the past, and have to say that this weapon is in the top three of my personal ranking. The fit and finish of this weapon is outstanding, and the two tone stainless steel frame and black duty finish slide make this weapon a pleasure to view as well as hold. The trigger on this weapon is outstanding with a well defined wall and crisp and clean break at 4 pounds. Reset is immediate with no creep, and returning immediately to the wall for another crisp and clean break for your follow-up shots. With the weapon weight at approximately 36 ounces, this 45 ACP platform is a pleasure to shoot. 25 LPI checkering for the frontstrap and backstrap along with the Hogue G10 Diamond grips installed make the purchase of this weapon sure in any condition. Accuracy is commensurate to your shooting abilities, but due to fit and workmanship, this weapon will perform above your expectations. The two original checkmate magazines (included) work great, but Wilson Combat magazines are my choice with any 1911 platform. The HEINE straight 8 night sights are near dead after 10 years, the front sight only faintly glowing. These sights will need to be replaced if you desire operational night sights or prefer different sight configurations. The existing sights are excellent without the Tritium vials operating.
This weapon is for sale only, trades will not be considered or accepted. Original box, docs, and factory test fired cartridge are included, along with all listed above. Three additional sets of V-BOB grips are included so you can dress up for the night out!
