Item Description: Springfield 03–A3 Custom Sporter in 25-06 caliber with a 24” custom barrel. Ser. # 4148580. This rifle made by Remington has been very tastefully custom sporterized. The stock is walnut with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece, recoil pad and a Rosewood pistol grip cap. The stock has 18 line checkering and has a well executed carving of two deer feeding in a forest setting. The bolt is jeweled and altered for scope clearance. The floor plate is the original 03–A3 stamped plate. QD swivels and a Brownell Latigo Sling is included. The stock and bluing are perfect. Overall this is a 99% rifle. My father had the work done over 40 years ago. I have never fired it. The action, safety and bolt release lock work perfectly. The price is based on a 2008 appraisal I will provide.
