If you look at the rear notch at the top of the mag on both a PMAG and the stock SCAR mag you will see the difference. You need to dremel the notch slightly on the PMAG as it will catch on the bolt carrier over time. This *can* contribute to the drop free issue you were mentioning. GLWS
