Man that does suck! I had a 1911 stolen years ago. I now keep a high point pistol in the truck. That's the only negative result of Georgia not having a gun registration??

You didn't learn from the first time, and still keep a gun in your vehicle.
Whether it's a $2000 gun or a $100 gun makes no difference to a criminal.
And please explain what a gun confiscation list would do to keep your gun from being stolen.
You think some magical piece of paper keeps thieves away?
About as useful as the no guns sign at a qwickie mart.

And to the OP, sorry to hear it and hope you get your gun back.
At the same time I hope it woke you up to the fact that no place is sacred or safe in this day and age.

Yeah your right, and with 2 reports filed for whomever did this, and probably the same person...next time I would love to catch them in the act...if again, this time I now assume they are armed. So Id like to see them break in again.........It will be a different story.

Id like to think that I will get it back but... The odds are against me. However, next time, if a next time... I will have to remind whomever that my doors are locked for their protection not mine!

My wife's parents house was broken into when she was little. Long story short they took everything and destroyed everything. This was years before me and my wife got together but one day her daddy got a phone call saying they had received a gun that was reported stolen. Of course he reported them stolen he worked for the Sheriff's dept. But I truly hope it works out, I can imagine the feeling. You should probably buy my mini 14 and just stand by your window for a few weeks. For you my friend I give you good deal for bad incident.

Appreciate the offer but thats just it, dont have the cash to replace it right now... 2 kids under two and 6 yo... priorities. I have other guns but seriously thinking about sitting in my wife's SUV , set up the thief , sit with an asp and suprise the hell out out of him and beat the crap out of him until the cops get there... Maybe I can get my gun back that way... Hell, dont want to get shot with my own gun!
