True, but the ATF picked off some of the rare ones by claiming they were too easily converted to FA and reclassified them to MGs. Wasn't the Holmes MP83 one of them?There’s around 10 makes of open-bolt semi’s that the ATF gifted to us by not forcing NFA registration after the fact
In the 90’s I incorrectly predicted their prices would have shot to the moon similar to their NFA counterparts prices.
Back in the day , lot of people “ fixed that for ya “. Now you can just buy a fixed pin bolt for under $200 for the little Mac . Or you can do other stuff !The semi-auto SWD M11/Nine (and rare semi M11/380) have a “floating” firing pin.. wink-wink![]()
I remember those open bolt SWD MAC 10s could be made to fire FA by placing a stop behind the trigger to limit the trigger travel. Talk about instant NFA violation.
