Up for sale is a 1992 Dodge B-350, 15 Passenger Van.

All of the seat rows have been removed except the first row. This means you can fit a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood in the van and still transport 4 other people. This van was a church van for many years.

The odometer has stopped at 48k miles, so I have no idea how many miles are on it.

I used it for years to haul boxes around, but one day the engine started making a terrible noise. I'm not a mechanic but it sounds like one or more of the cylinders is not firing.

I took it to a mechanic; they said all the cylinders have compression. But I don't think he really wanted to work on my old van, so now I have it back.

It does move under its own power as I drove it the 15 miles back from the mechanic. But I would not want to do that again.

It starts, and sounds bad, but it you give it gas it smooths out. If I could fix it, I would keep it but I don't know how.

The tires are less than 5k miles old. It has a trailer hitch and a roof rack.

Dodge used to make damn good vans. This is one of those we used to call a Church Van. In fact I still have one of the middle row seats from one just like this that serves as a love seat in my bedroom.
Anyway it's a decent deal for a very handy vehicle. It's like a truck that keeps all your cargo out of the weather.

What trouble codes did the mechanic say it had, may just be a vacuum leak, clogged cat, or maybe a distributor issue. I'm not a mchanic, but I do fix my own '95 E150 when there's an issue.

So is my '95, but there's still a computer in there that'll give you codes. It's called OBD-1, the connector should be under the hood.

Scanners were proprietary back then, so a Ford or Chevy won't work on your Dodge. Thankfully they changed the law and forced them all to use a standardized connection for scanners.

A way to check for codes without a scanner is to do the test in the video below. It's more of a hassle but cheaper than buying a scanner.
