A ball or steel core FMJ round (e.g., .223 SS109) will attract a magnet.

You need to find a new range. Sandy Springs club don't do it. Adairsville in Cartersville don't care. Hicaliber don't care nor does Big Wood goods.

BWG is the range that does it to me every time I go. Steel core bullets damage their backstop.

HC never has to me but I haven't been in a yr.. so I guess never use to check.....

If I remember correctly BWG didn't at the ODT meet...

And the ammo runs well through my 1/9 twist barrels out to 75yrds.... decent grouping.. never a failure of any kind.
