Item Description: Colt 6" Python with extra 4" barrel and grips. Amazing condition and better than most seen for sale here and other places. Bought a used 4" barrel thinking would change it out but couldn't bring myself to do it. No original box or docs. New COLT grips from Colt. The previous owner had Hogue and will come with sale. how do you change out a barrel on one of those? I was under the impression that could not physically be done. I suppose anything is possible with machining and cutting but is that what you had planned?

It is a threaded barrel and must be installed and tuned by a pistol smith. Would not recommend it for avg person to do m
