Everything Schmitt told you is true and is also almost verbatim what I told you on your first posting, except the part about Colt machinery...The systemas were produced on machinery bought from a german machinery manufacturer that built it to EXACTING Colt specs under Colt supervision, so although Colt never actually owned the machinery(or did they?), it was in effect Colt machinery. This is arguable, no doubt. The old systemas are going up in value, but it's the un modified ones that bring the bucks.
