Very rare condition Enfield No.4MK2 WWII bolt-action battle rifle.
The rifle is unfired and unaltered in any way. This is the closest thing to a mint as-new straight-from-the-factory Enfield that you will find.
All numbers match - the receiver, bolt/bolt handle, magazine, and notice the stamping on the bottom of the wood forend on the upper part of the handguard nearest the muzzle. The bayonet and scabbard came issued with the rifle.
I am the original owner, and I purchased it in early 90s before Clinton stopped the importation of surplus rifles. Unissued unfired rifle were rare even back then. It has been a safe queen until now. If you are a collector or want something unique that not many people have, this rifle is for you.
