Yeah I took a closer look at the pics after I sent the message. I’ll research tapping a FR8 and see if that can be done.

You're openin up a can of worms lol. Buy it and shoot it with irons, or leave it be. I've been down this road... mine was gonna be a scout rifle though.

You'd have to cut the rear sight off to mount a base, and those are very nice adjustable sights for a battle rifle.

You'd have to cut the rear sight off to mount a base, and those are very nice adjustable sights for a battle rifle.

Yeah I’m seeing online people making them Scout rifles with EER scopes mounted above the barrel. Yeah I had one before and loved it and always wanted to get another one. Don’t see them posted often.

Im and iron sight shooter for sure don’t have scopes on any of my rifles. Hell I have an ACOG that never gets used. But, if I were going to want to shoot .308 or 7.62x39 in hunt scenario I’d like to at least have that optioning if that makes sense.
