3000 rnds of Norinco Green boxed 7.62x39mm. This is non corrosive, steel case, ammo. This sticks to a magnetic, so it's either lead core or bi metal jacket. I haven't cut a round open to see and there's mixed reviews on the internet.

Head stamp read 89 and 71 on all I've opened so far.

$650 per 1000rnds or $1800 for all 3k. I've priced this on the lower end of the middle of recent sales.

Ammo cans *NOT* included. Add $10 per can if wanting the cans.

I'm in the High Falls area of Monore County now but I get up to the Cherokee county area often if that's better for you.

Meet close to me off 75, meet very close to me in the middle of nowhere if little to no feed back or more then 1 negative.

Trades are factory built AR from DD, SOLGW, BCM, and Colt. I need 10MM and 38SPL target ammo. 1911 in 10MM or 45ACP, AK in x39, and as always Spas-12.

Also looking for AR-180 magazines, BHP Mec-Gar 15rnds magazine, and straight MP5 magazines too.

None of the stuff I saw was ever marked steel core as it was the cheapest option at the time. We used to buy and sell it when it was importable. All of the steel core stuff was silly anyways as it was pretty soft steel. All of them were marked "steel cased" though. The green boxed stuff we got was all lead core but who knows if there were variations. It was sold as lead core from SOG distributors but steel jacketed. The silver boxed stuff we got was lead core and usually had a copper jacket although sometimes we found some rounds that would stick to a magnet so QC wasn't exactly great.

I want to say dealer price on the cheapest yellow box steel core stuff was around $70/1K at the time with bulk pricing at 5+.

That's the thing about Chinese ammo.... you just never know.

Yeah I've got the same box without the steel core markings we got from SOG decades ago! Cores were definitely steel after dremeling the jacket off. This is the only stuff they ever sent us in the yellow boxes.

I have a few of those boxes. Some silver boxed stuff as well marked Steel core...

They just threw everything at US back then.

I miss the $80 per 1Krnds days... SKS were not much more and a Poly AK was $299.... of course homes were also $30K but still, lol.

You've got me all nostalgic now. I remember getting cases of SKS rifles @ $59 per if you bought the case of 20 and got a quote for FOB shipping. Sealed cases of corrosive 7.62x39 on SKS stripper clips in 550rd spam cans that came in a two pack for $66, but no one wanted corrosive ammo back then. I'm sure you're right that Norinco and PolyUSA just threw whatever they could into boxes with QC coming in second, but what a time to be alive!
