Item Description: This is a 2014 Dan Wesson Valor in the awesome black Duty Finish. Ready for whatever you need a top flight 1911 to do. I shot this pistol for about a year in a local IDPA match, and has been in the safe for all of 2016. I'm more interested in a backup production gun or perhaps trying my hand at limited in USPSA than letting this sit in the
There are a number of upgrades on this pistol
- Dawson Precision Fiber optic front / novak style adjustable rear ( Hienie Straight 8 night sights still in box, only 2 years old, still bright)
- DW Specialist Mainspring Housing / Mag Well (original MSH in box)
- Caspian Trik Trigger (original trigger I believe is in the box)
- Wilson Combat flat wire recoil spring / short guide rod
- Cylinder & Slide stainless grip screws (original blued screws in box)
- EGW Hard Sear
- The trigger has been worked over by Andy at Georgia Firing line and breaks like glass at about 2lbs 7 oz. You can adjust the sear spring down to sub 2.25# trigger if that's your thing.
- VZ Operator II's picture with the gun available for an additional $50, gun will come with VZ double diamond thin grips original to the gun.
In addition to that it will come with
- Box/Docs original parts listed above
- 2 OEM magazines (Check-Mate 8 rd hybrid competition magazines stamped with
- Original parts listed above.
There are extras available for purchase (pics available on request). These are not available for individual sale unless the gun goes.
- IDPA Legal Ready Tactical belt holster and mag pouches (X3) + $100
- Coyote LA Police Gear Pistol Rug with five Check-Mate 8 Rd Hybrid Competition magazines and 1 old beat up Colt 7 rounder +$80
- VZ Operator 2 grips - pictured +$50
- CompTac Spartan IWB holster with brown C Clips +$40
- Aliengear Cloak Tuck 2.0 holster +$25
- Mernickle Custom leather holster PS6 high ride OWB leather holster +$60
As far as trades are concerned, I'm really only interested in either an CZ SP-01 Shadow or Tactical Sports 40 in great condition (low round count examples only, lets say no older than 2014 manufacturer unless it's immaculate cosmetically and you're the only owner) plus cash, extras, Small Pistol primers, etc to draw level in value. I'm not interested in long guns of any type, that includes piles of SKSs with Tapco furniture and 30 rd magazines. Not really interested in a polymer framed anything save maybe a Grand Power X-Caliber or Bersa Thunder Pro XT production rig with all the magazines. Actually, a gun that has a known round count and good maintenance history is OK as well as long as the barrel isn't shot out, or getting close.
