Item Description: Springfield M1-Garand March of 44 serial number. Gun is very clean pictures don’t do it justice. It is not perfect but for a gun of its age and history u won’t find many better. Very accurate and plenty of life left. 1,300 cash only maybe trade but it would have to be something of a lot of interest I would prefer cash. Call or text I have more pics I can provide. Idk where to get ammo for that M1 or i would offer a trade for it.. It states to NOT use modern 30-06 cartridges for it as it can really mess up the rifle...

For years, the only place to get ammo for an M1 was to reload for it. We are back to that for the time being.

eta, you can get a vented or ported plug to replace the gas plug, and that supposedly allows modern ammo.

You can get specific ammo for it. Its pretty commen they also make an adjustable gas plug for it so you can use modern ammo
