Item Description: Mitchell Mauser 8mm M-48A Zastava Yugoslavia 1943 beautiful rifle. Comes with a rail someone can put on to add a scope and $120 worth of 8mm ammo to toss in. Going for $700 plus on gun broker.

I don't know what this is exactly, but a 1943 M48A it is not. M48s weren't produced until 1950, and M48s in 1952. Also, none of Czech VZ24s or K98k's were refurbished under the M48 designation.

It's what is on receiver verbatim. I will add pictures to that effect. Please remember it is a Mitchel Mauser which translates to restored to like new standards not necessarily 100% accurate from original build. Thanks for great history information though.
