I would say that a 1 -1 1/2 pound trigger likely would not hold the sear against the hammer hooks to even function properly?
and certainly being a series 70 1911 a drop could easily result in a discharge if the trigger pull was that light.
anyway, luck wiht the sale and maybe some recalibration is in order on the ad?

Definitely a compact ria, look at the first picNot trying to bust a bubble, but yep, generally defenders are 3=3.25 inch, officers are 3.25-3.50 barrels, i agree it looks like a commander to me as well (4.25 in.barrel) but its not my pistola and i am going by the picture.
